Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

This page explains what data IsamAI collects and how it's used, in plain language.

What's collected

When you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (never the password itself). When you chat, your messages and the AI's replies are stored in a database tied to your account, so your conversation history is there when you come back.

Where your messages go

Each message you send is forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. Anthropic's own privacy practices apply to that processing — see their privacy policy for details on how they handle API data.

What's not collected

This app doesn't sell your data, run ads, or share your conversations with third parties beyond the AI provider needed to generate a response.

Your control

You can delete individual conversations at any time from the sidebar. If you'd like your entire account and all associated data removed, contact the app's owner directly.

Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard methods (via ASP.NET Core Identity) and are never stored in plain text. That said, no system is perfectly secure — use a unique password you don't reuse elsewhere.
